UK Social Enterprise Awards

It’s the biggest social enterprise event of the year and applications to enter the UK Social Enterprise Awards are now open! 

The Awards are all about celebrating the social enterprises up and down the country who are changing lives, protecting our planet, creating jobs, bringing communities together and transforming our public services.  

It’s a festival of community, showcasing the leading lights in this incredible movement of business for good. If you work for a social enterprise why not celebrate all you’ve achieved in the last year and apply? Equally if you know of a social enterprise who you think could win, let them know about this opportunity!

Social enterprises operate across the economy and our 15 categories have been created to best reflect the diversity and impact of the social enterprise movement from the One to Watch Award recognising a pioneering start-up to the overall UK Social Enterprise of the Year Award. There’s also sector specific categories – including for those with an environmental focus, those using tech for good, businesses making waves in creating jobs and educational opportunities, social enterprises driving change in the public sector, those set up to support their local communities, and those embedding EDI principles across their work.

We also have categories specifically for organisations dedicated to buying from social enterprises and for the social investment deal of the year.

With our new application platform, the process is both smoother and more accessible. Once you start your application you can save it and come back at any time. Please not that applications will close on 7 July!

Taking the show to a brand new venue 

This year’s ceremony is going to be something different – after three wonderful years at Camden’s Roundhouse, we’re heading to a new venue, taking the party to one of the country’s best known arts venues – the Queen Elizabeth Hall at London’s Southbank Centre! The ceremony will take place on the evening of 26 November, and we can’t wait to reveal our new plans. All we can say for now is that it will be more exciting than ever with a new format and a focus on community and fun!
