This month we'll be hearing from Jack Kennedy, founder of marketing agency Invanity. Jack hails from Thame, he started Invanity at the tender age of 19, he hates red cabbage with a passion, and when he first tried his hand at email marketing while working for a golf club he sent an email to over 60,000 people saying 'the perfect shit' instead of 'the perfect shot'.
Likes are nice - but they don't pay the bills. So this session explores what it really means for marketing to be accountable to revenue and breaks down how we can make that happen.
We’ll learn how you can tie your tactics to clear revenue goals, looking at real examples across areas like SEO, paid media, and ABM. Plus we'll find out why so many teams still get lured in by vanity metrics, and how we can steer clear of that trap.
Most importantly, you’ll walk away with practical ideas and tools you can start using straight away to track, measure, and prove the revenue impact of your marketing. No fluff - just a clear path to making your work count.

How our gatherings usually go
🍻 6pm: Doors open for (free) drinks, marketing chit-chat, and - let's face it - probably at least some small talk about the weather
🧑🏫 6.15-7.15pm: A brilliant marketing talk from a knowledgeable and interesting human, plus some Q&A and informal group discussion
🤓 7.15-7.30pm: It’s GUS time (that’s Genuinely Useful Shit)
🍻 7.30-8pm: More (still free) drinks and fun chat, hopefully about more interesting stuff than the weather by this point
Here you’ll find everyone from marketing managers and comms execs to freelancers, solo business owners, and students exploring the industry. If you’re interested in marketing, you’re welcome around the campfire.
